On the traffic view, the closing time now shows alternately with the relative height if the closing time is less than 90 seconds.

It's always been an issue with some EFBs that when connecting to a GDL90 device, you need to start AvTraffic before you start your EFB. Now, if AvTraffic has a problem connecting to the device it will warn you.
A new GDL90 help page has been added to clarify why this can happen and what to do about it.
Annunciations are great for when a traffic conflict arises and you aren't aware of any conflicts.
There are two ways to connect your tablet or phone's audio so you can hear traffic alert annunciations.
Firstly, if you have a bluetooth headset, simply pair your device to the headset.
Secondly, if your audio panel or intercom has a bluetooth or auxiliary input, connect to that either by pairing or using a cable as appropriate. This has the added benefit that all your passengers can hear the annunciations too.
Enable traffic annunciations in the Settings view and try it by tapping the Test button.
Don't forget to use the right callsign in AvTraffic when you fly.
This is particularly important if you have mode S with or without ADS-B out.
If your AvTraffic callsign is different to your mode S transponder's callsign, AvTraffic will interpret the messages coming from the two sources (AvTraffic and ADSB Exchange) as two different aircraft flying in close proximity.
This will generate unnecessary traffic alerts.
In any case, other pilots may want to call you on the radio and they need to know who to call.
If you fly multiple aircraft, it's easy to create multiple profiles and switch between them prior to take off.
Please visit the Getting Started page for more on setting up aircraft profiles.
